Many of us are living as our false selves.
It’s not that you’re not making things happen in your life it’s just that you’re not doing it with the fullness of who you are.
I wasn't happy with who I was showing up as but I thought that my life was written in stone. I truly thought that's the way life was always going to be for me.
Because people can’t change, right?
Wrong!
I feel like I’ve lived 2 different lifetimes.
So looking back I can tell you that my unhappiness and stagnation had nothing to do with my job, relationships, my body, where I lived etc... (I thought it did but it didn't)
It was due to the void and the emptiness inside of me.
It felt like a big hole in my heart.
No man could fill that void
No amount of alcohol could fill that hole. (believe me, I tried)
The only thing that has ever filled that void, was love. No... not a man's love. My love. Self-love.
I had to realize and remember that I was worthy of my own love and acceptance. The more I did that, the more my heart began to fill.
I'm not going to lie, it wasn't easy. I had a lot of shame and abandonment issues to work through.
But once I unearthed that pain, A new me was born.

You speak your truth
You love yourself and your flaws
You fall in love (with someone who loves you back)
You have inner peace
You can just be with yourself.
No matter what emotion arises, you can just remain present to it and no longer need a drink "to relax" or "to take the edge off"
You can finally just be.
You may not know it yet but that's what your soul is longing for. “to just be”
As long as you're hanging on to the past you can't be who you're meant to be. She's buried underneath the pain. But she wants to be birthed. She wants to just be, to exist.
Let her out!. Let her breathe. Now is her time.
Hi, I'm Essence
I’m no stranger to emotional pain...
For many years I struggled with low self-worth, unhappiness, was a borderline alcoholic, a smoker and I couldn't attract a healthy relationship to save my life.
I used to refer to myself as damaged goods because it felt so true.
I used to pray for better days to come my way, but they rarely ever did and I hated my life. I began to think I didn’t deserve much better.
One day the wise woman inside of me whispered: "If you're having the same toxic relationships and emotional pain year after year it's you, sweetheart, not them".
I discovered I was carrying abandonment and unworthiness issues from my childhood.
I went on a forgiveness and self-love journey to heal. I went all-in on myself, I did mirror work, affirmations but that only got me so far and I had to get help from coaches and healers to help get to the places I was afraid of visiting.
The journey was beautiful, painful, insightful, it broke me down. Then it built me back up and opened my heart more than I ever knew was possible.

I’ve found my purpose and I’m living it as a spiritual teacher, energy healer, and coach.

I found real and lasting love with a man who’s my best friend. He encourages me and supports my dreams.

I have a beautiful relationship with myself. No matter what my appearance, my body or life looks I love myself hard because self-love is deeper than surface level.
